This is a pleasing image. The colors are different and unusual. Could be either a morning glow or an evening glow. The building ruins are well depicted setting high of a seaside perch. Very nice. Good Luck.

a beautiful image of the old ruins on the cliff, so sad that the sea claims so much of the land and buildings on the coasts around our lovely island, I like the old rugged textures of the building you have created in this , the colours are beautiful and contrast so well with the sky, the image has a lonely isolated feel as due to the nature of the building being unstable no one would visit anymore, a very well thought out painting with
lovely brush technique.

It might be imaginary, but still it looks so real. I especially like all the blue hues in this painting, and also all the fine textures brought out in the foreground vegetation.

It is also easy to see that you have paid a very good attention to details, and the brush strokes are very good. I also think it is a fine light in this work of art.

The format and the framing is very good and the ruins have got a fine placement on the canvas. A lovely and well done painting, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Nicely done, Suzanne. Great job in rendering the ruin from your imagination. Look just like what one would expect in England at the seaside if it were happening. Also great work on the cliff side itself with lots of detail and definition. Sorry to hear about your town's coastline. Best of luck in the contest.

I love the atmosphere. The ruins have a great view of the sky and sea. I really like the different green colors surrounding the ruins. The imagination you have is inspiring!

So beautiful is your scene with the Imaginary Ruins high above the hill. Your colors so incredible and so is your use of light and shadows creating depth and interest in your art work. A great entry into the Contest and a good contender and good luck. It is a powerful piece ....with it's placement on the hill and the view to the sea. A creative and talented art work. Worthy of a six star. Thanks for sharing. I love this!

This is a beautiful painting, thanks for sharing. It definitely tells a story. I think that to make it stand out a little more I would have made the sky a little more different in shading as your building blends in too much. As always art critique is a personal experience. I see how you may have created it this way so that it is disappearing as your description states, but I think the title does that enough.

My kind of stuff. This picture transports me to an imaginary place, not just the ruins but 'deja vu' of previous times and events, the gorgeous mountain that it stands on and that ocean view. All the color blending is fantastic.
