Hi Suzanne thanks for sharing the story that accompanies your lovely artwork. You've done a great job creating these imaginery ruins. Excellent brush stroke to achieve the effect and a nice selection of colours to give them an " old and diminishing " appearance. The brushwork on the cliff face offers a nice splash of green/ earthy tones and blend well with the ruins. The sea on the right side adds depth and the cloudy skies create a pleasing background.. well crafted and a pleasure to review.. cheers mel

Hi, Suzanne! This is an eye catching piece. Presentation and visual impact are impressive. Highlighting and shading are beautifully rendered. Nice contrast with the vegetation and the building. The scene makes me think of how the ruins of the famous Urquhart castle above Loch Ness looks!

This is a very lovely painting of a building in ruins on a Cliffside. The building is well placed as well as the horizon line. The details in the building and grassy foreground are well done. I love it. Good luck in the contest.
