A beautiful picture of the Dassie or Rock Hydrax watching you from above a hole in the lichen covered rock. Hard to believe this tiny animal is related to an Elephant! Beautiful composition, framing & soft natural lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Lovely capture of this pretty little creature perched on the rock. I like the pose you caught. Lighting and focus very good. I love all the patterns in the rocks which create added interest. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne
