A lovely piece using a skilful and time consuming technique showing this amazing creature of the sea, capturing the details of the fins and face, especially the giant wide eye, very well and in good proportion with the rest of the body. Careful and accurate shading shows the tones of the beast well, and the lifelike accuracy to size and features is great. A lovely piece, well composed and best of luck in the polls :)

Hi and thanks for sharing your rendering of this excellent blue shark in the pale blue water. A very interesting method of painting using the dot technique. It has great effect and works well in this painting. The shark is nicely drawn and has a definite look of " I mean business " on his face. The expression you have given him says it all. The deeper tones of blue contrast nicely with the background water and make him stand out visually in a most appealing way. thanks for sharing your artwork and very best of luck in the contest.. cheers mel

Cool,Isidoro!
I'm not really concerned about the 'method' you created the drawing with but I'm really enjoying the pleasantly 'out of the ordinary' subject that you've portrayed here!
Your Blue Shark image makes for a very 'Good Show' indeed,my friend! : )

Why are sharks never smiling. They always look mad. Ever notice that? And those eyes.

Anyway, this is so true to live. Well done in all ways. thank you for sharing.

Well done and definitely blue. I thought the rules of the contest said there can be animals but that they were looking for blue scenes like skies and nature. I was going to submit one but it had a whale. Anyway, hope I read it wrong. In any case, I like your design and execution. Are his teeth in a jar by the bed? Haha. Nice job. Good composition and framing. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

This entry might be fine because the animal in it is also blue

Meticulous & well thought out creation in pointillist compositional style...

Bluish overtone is visually appealing.
An artistic rendition. Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive strokes & textures. Thanks for sharing...
