Thank you very much for your kind wishes. Happy Valentines Day to you!
Even as they are sculls, this couple looks happy. Their souls seemingly met and they enjoy afterlife together. The rose, the symbol of love, is an adequate addition. The snow is an ideal unobtrusive background. The composition is balanced. The greeting card is well composed and framed.

Very well done and I so admire your dedication to reach this result. How satisfying. It has a simple beauty yetc the skulls are intricate and you have captured the details of contours and antlers. I like your design and positioning. The rose is a super addition, it has very nice shadowing and is a good contrast and balance to the rest.

Thanks so much for the very nice review and comments! I originally set it up in the basement to get the placement right, then had to re create it on the pond.

Not the kind of an image that you would generally associate with Valentines Day. A well composed image with great colors and fine detail. Happy Valentines Day to you.

Very interesting creation and your effort really paid off ! This is well thought out, the Rose is in such contrast with the skulls, both in color and texture and in subjects , one doesn't usually associate a Rose with a skull, but here, you make this work! Camera techs are perfect, this is awesome!

Nice humor in the message on the card. However, I find it a bit gruesome. Good idea to use the snowfall as background. Focus is very sharp and lighting excellent. Good Luck with the contest.

I would know who you are if I could only remember who always posts deer skulls. Could it be PLD? Lol. I always guess wrong. The antlers are magnificent. Wonder how these two died. Cycle of life. After death do us part. Nice composition. Nicely framed. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

I do love your story that goes with this amazing photography. Having frozen fingers was definitely worth it. I love this and the saying on the foreground is just perfect and ever so clever.. Starting with the red border.. Stunning. It offsets the entire scene .. The deer Antlers are brilliantly placed on the purest of white snow background. I love the way the skulls meet toward their mouths. almost as if they were brewing for a big kiss.. . The rose ( frozen or not) serves to create a warm and inviting emotion to your well placed skulls. It also is a fine reminder that love is in the air. a beautiful symbolic element in the photo. How brilliantly you have placed the skulls so that the set of antlers join, forming a heart shape . now that is amazingly clever.. The white snow background contrasts perfectly with the tonings in the skulls themselves and draws the eye in an appealing way to the main subject.. Great choice to leave that happy valentines message below.. in nice bold red lettering. stands out and compliments the red border.. Thanks for sharing this amazing Valentines message. so unique and very 'deer' to the heart. a total joy to review. cheers and best of luck. mel

Witty title!
Is the Hart intentional or no more space?!?

Nice caption with romantic red cursive font...
Creative concept. Innovative approach. Imaginative presentation.
Outrageous rendition!

Great compositional elements.nice bluish tint in contrast with the red, red rose!
Best of luck in the contest!

The title was supposed to be "Do"e You Want to Be My Sweet"Hart"!,but alas, I did run out of room-lol- so I had to shorten it to fit! Thanks so very much for a fantastic review- I truly enjoyed it,Happy Valentine's Day to you also! :)

Before I mentioned I wasn't a fan of the skulls, but this one I really like. They add so much to this photo and the soft red rose between them is a perfect buffer. The creative text and the flower make for a unique and beautiful valentines card with wonderful artistry and creativity. Great work.
