What a lovely capture of Dad and child.

Great capture of natural light and colors.

I think Dad is more worried about protecting you little one than of looking at you.

Wonderful presentation, thanks for sharing with us.

many thanks my dear, but "me" is not me, it is the baby speaking.....

Oh I knew that. I was speaking to the baby. Wonderful shot.

Magnificent! Your subjects are obviously amazing. The moment you captured is just so compelling. The soft light on the adult males mane and the soft shine behind the youngster is really so lovely. DOF perfect to provide clarity on the lions with a softer background. Best of luck in the contest and thanks for sharing.

I like the retention of natural colors, resulting from right exposure. Great angle, showing the overall body of your wild subjects, without distractions. You've framed this well, with ample negative space for your them to wildly move. Might be a nice page in a book. Well captured !

What a beautiful capture showing this father and his daughter , good stop action on the youngster, well focused, well exposed, natural colors and tones, well composed showing the subjects in a natural setting.

I love the way the sun is highlighting both of these lions. The photo is nicely composed and the title is humorous and tells a story. Nice details in the lions fur and the background shrubs.

A beautiful shot in exceptional light. The remains suitably aloof while his daughter seems to be anticipating the day when she will be called upon to provide the food for him. Great colors and a very sharp image.

woweee. this is just fabulous .. what a fantastic photo. . excellent exposure and perfect lighting brings this photo to life. That beautiful specimen , the lion, lazing comfortably on the sandy ground beneath , contrasts beautifully with her blackish coat of fur and that ginger toned head and mane. Magnificent . Just check out the eyes.. So relaxed and staring contently at something that takes his fancy. The delightful stance on the cub gives the impression she is about to leap into action. Staying close by her Dad for added security while she ponders on the idea.
The greenery in the bushes behind them provides a nice soft touch and a lovely splahs of colour to compliment the earthy tones of the ground. Love looking at these big cats. Such a gallant head on him. Its hard to imagine his roar.. Thanks for sharing this real gem. been a pleasure to review. cheers mel

Quite a nice animal shot posted here for entry into the competition! Dad is not looking because he is tired and also knows that his little girl is sensible and will not do anything silly!! Exposure and sharpness are good. Well done and good luck!
