Wow! I love this! Your mixture of tradition and digitally processed art has been accomplished perfectly. You have blended the two methods seamlessly. There are no sharp lines from the art that are contradictory to the random lines and shades in the mixing media. Your colors are perfect as well...with the blues the most vibrant and in the most obvious mixed area. While the colors of the lion are completely natural and more controlled in saturation...leaving the area more able to sustain the detail of the face and fur where you want it. Same with the grass.. I would only like a bit more space above the lions head in order frame such a work.. Excellent and artistic choices here. Well done!! A pleasure to view! Should be a strong contender in the contest! Best of luck!

A very nice image that captures the noble nature of the king of beasts. I think the background color is a bit too saturated and detracts from the subject a bit. Best of luck in the contest.

Just love the bright blue background against the beige lion. This artwork has a great initial impact and is full of lovely details. The lion looks like he is king.
