A very nice travel photo that capture a rather large and imposing structure. I like the sense of scale in the image. Keeping the water and shoreline in the picture also helps to create a sense of place. Well seen.

Absolutely wonderful view, the capture offers up lighting and color perfection. Great sun filled day and fantastic natural color. Reminds me of a boat ride on the Rhine so I of course now have to make a trip to Ireland. LOL Great focus as well. The abbey's placement in the frame perfection. Breath of wonderfully fresh air. Thanks for sharing.

Wow that isan excellent capture - angle and perspective are just perfect - your framing is well chosen - I think your picture is clear and sharp and I love specially looking closer to the walls and see the the textures of the shades created by years.

Amazing shot. It has a timelessness to it. I can almost see knights and horses walking out from. It has that wonderful, slightly mysterious light. That place between sunlight and overcast.

Many thanks for your nice review! If I remember correctly this was the best composition with the lens I had on the camera at the time. Did not have time to change lenses because my wife was urging me onwards!

This is a beautiful capture! I love the black and white contrast of the castle nestled in the rich green foliage of the Irish countryside. The peep of the river in the foreground gives your piece a nice balance and contrast. Wonderful!
