Another nice view of this old Abby. I looked up the history of this place and it is fascinating. Good POV for this shot. Colors are well rendered and the focus is sharp. Nice work Pritt ~ Steve

Well done! Your focus, framing, and lighting are all good. I have never actually seen a castle in person before, but I thank you for giving me a glimpse of one until I am able to see one for myself. Well done and thanks for sharing :)

Thanks for your nice review! By the way it is not a castle but an abbey.

You're welcome and I am sorry for the misunderstanding. For some reason I was thinking they were the same thing but I just looked it up and now I realize that they are not lol :)

Very nice postcard quality photo of the Abbey. Captures the beautiful building very well with good composition, clarity and contrast. The green trees seem a perfect backdrop for a beautiful building in Ireland, one of my favorite places. Picture seems to have captured the whole building, although there is a hint that it might lack a little detail on the left. Very well done.

This is a wonderful shot of the Abbey. I was here and wanted to get a photo of it, but it was so foggy. If it was just a little fog, it would have atmosphere...but, it was the kind of fog you could barely see the outline of it. We parked and were across the water and too far away. You have captured a wonderful shot of this. All the details are there...and the angle is well chosen.

Hi Nikman thanks for sharing your stunning photo of the Abbey in Ireland. wow.. what amazing architecture. The photo has excellent exposure and the lighting is great. The angle used allows me to view each section of the Abbey and gives a good indication of its immensity , sitting nicely tucked into the foliage which covers the hillside upon which it stands. The inclusion of the river in the foreground adds an excellent frame to your photo and a good depth of view.. the focus is sharp and clear and brings out the intricate details which border the roof tops. The slight appearance of ageing can be seen around the windows . A remarkable building which contrasts so stunningly against the rich green foliage of trees both in the foreground and behind. Thanks for sharing this excellent photo of historic interest . A true please to review. cheers mel

Sharpness is great for the castle. Interesting subject. Makes me wonder about Catmal. I miss his posts. So, is that a moat or just a river or some other natural water source? Nice composition with good framing. I could see the tiny people on the road in front of the castle. That shows how huge this castle is. Lots of people could have lived here. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Your kind review is appreciated! The water you see is a small part of a lough(lake).

A beautiful shot, for sure, but to see it in person must be an amazing experience. I love greenery surrounding the castle. Perfectly framed - if you draw a diagonal line through the frame the greenery provides an excellent balance in the upper right, to the castle in the lower left. Well done!

HOLY GUACAMOLE this is splendid and dear sir, I am so sorry to tell you that I have no more 6 stars left because you so deserve it, it is an excellent rendition.

Just for fun, try this in high contrast black and white.
