What a beautiful image. Yes, the contrast is a little strong, but it works well in this scene - detail is still excellent. Ansel Adams would be proud. Thanks for sharing this wonderful image.

I really like this, it makes you "feel" so many thoughts rise to the surface of the heart. Not so much the mind but the heart places where loneliness and grief has visited. A place that entertaines heartaches yet balances them with facts. I really feel you captured loneliness. Very well done. Hope I made sense

The capture of this image is excellent. The editing is great. You explanation of the image is interesting. It does look scary and spooky but it can also be up lifting . Well done

This is fantastic and would have been worthy of a six if some of the bottom has been cropped off for more of a rectangle shot.

I love the darkness and the fog displayed here.

Your piece is peaceful and sinister all at the same time.

Nicely done!

I like this photo a lot.

It makes me think of a scene from a movie. Where one would be hiding from Dracula or a werewolf.

I love the fog in the background.

Great piece, thanks for sharing.

Given the fact that this is a cemetery, the dark, gloominess of the fog gives this photo a really mysterious look. That shooting is a very sad event indeed, as all shootings are. In a way this is a good way to represent those victims. As you said, the light in the background can easily represent those that have passed on moving onto heaven. Thanks for sharing this with us. :)

Love the description first off. I agree on the "No Fear" to pass from here to the hands of Christ! Amen. So beautiful. Soft, not start, not harsh, not so black that you hardly make out why you took this shot. Very smart artist! Well done!

OK, I have passed by this one to many times looking and reviews other photos before I finally snapped and saw the graveyard. And I thought I was so astute. You got me on this one. It does have a nice quite feel to it and a since of being alone, not lonely, just alone. Reasons for my five star vote.

You are welcome and I appreciate your dry sense of humor. Don't mind stopping by, but I think I am to young to stay for to long if you get my drift.

Nicely composed shot, the damp road lined with stark trees leading us into the light beyond.Yes,this is a journey that awaits all of us.The fog gives this b&w scene an even more somber feel.Great depth of field and nicely composed.Very well presented, thank you for sharing!
