I am a complete sucker for B&W photos. The lighting and contrast are fantastick here. It does look like the "light" at the end of the tunnel to where they are supposed to go. Great Job.

It may only go in one direction but it does look like a peaceful place to spend eternity. It can't be foggy all the time. I share your sadness, but also I harbor a great deal of anger.

This could not have been done in anything else but black and white, ad I especially like the fog because it is giving this place such a special atmosphere. The road to the final resting place is dark, but with the light in the background, it is telling me that this is a good place to end.

Your photo is sharp and the dark trees are standing out sharp and well defined. I also think the exposure is perfect.

Your perspective has created perfect leading lines bringing the viewer into the composition, and I also think the format and cropping is spot on. Indeed a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

Presentation and visual impact are gripping. Impressive framing and lighting. Beautiful notes added about going into light after death to meet the Lord. Nice depth of field. Just a beautiful piece with a moving message!

Great photo! Great depth and dimension. Wonderful contrast. The transition is up to the viewer. It can be seen as tranquil and peaceful. It can be seen as eerie. It can be seen as the path of life. It's before you and unknown. There are many variations in the translation. Really well accomplished. I painted a similar scene recently. You have inspired me to post it. Thank you.

Very affecting shot, Meg. Excellent angle. Perfect B&W tones. The distant foggy lighting is exactly right for the scene and your intended meaning from your notes. Clarity, DOF, and detail are all spot on. Expertly done.

Very fitting tribute to the victims of the dreadful shooting. I agree with you the light in the distance at the end of the roadway reminds you of going into the light after death. The mistiness and use of black and white adds drama to the image. Very emotive composition. Excellent work. Suzanne

We photographers are a crazy bunch aren't we? I do the same thing...visit cemeteries and hope to get shots like this.

The fact that it is wet, misty and in black and white propels this shot into the realm of OH WOW.

I would not have minded a wee bit of a crop up as the road does take over from the cemetery scene....but that is just me.

I like this in high contrast, it works.

Many of my Patients were affected by that Evil act In Parkland. Our cell phones were going off with Red Alerts as the schools is 10 Miles south of our office.
It's been a tough week.
Love your words of wisdom and kindness along with this superb Capture.
Excellent choice of black and white, fine vanishing like Perspective and great use of light and fog.
Your photo sadly will be all to true for the 17 funerals taking place here in Florida.
Nice work Mary Eileen
