I would like more detail in the artist notes. This is so nice and so well captured. I really want to know what kind of eagle or hawk it is. Maybe it is neither. Would give me a baseline for proportions of the other objects in the scene. Nice composition. Very prescious. Good entry for the contest. I also do not see chicks. I thought I saw one, but it was the eagle's white tail. It looks kind of like a white dove. But, I do see the nest and the eagle for sure is landing in it. A good entry for the contest. Thank you for sharing and best of luck with this image

Thank you for your feedback. They are both eagles and the one baby is in the bottom right hand corner. They are bald eagles found in Fort Myers Florida. I will update my description. Thank you again.

This had the potential for being a great shot, but there is so much going on between th ebirds and the branches and the needles and the other things in the picture that it is hard to see most of what is here. I love the look on the eagle looking down at the landing bird. Not sure it is a welcoming look. I think you just had too many things fighting with you to get the shot that was possible.

This had the potential for being a great shot, but there is so much going on between th ebirds and the branches and the needles and the other things in the picture that it is hard to see most of what is here. I love the look on the eagle looking down at the landing bird. Not sure it is a welcoming look. I think you just had too many things fighting with you to get the shot that was possible.

The background with the twisted branches and are nicely composed and interesting looking. Nice focus and sharp details throughout. Good luck in the challenge.
