This is an amazing piece. More so because I had a dream about her nearly 2 decades ago. A fabulous woman with red hair in gilded armor.
The reflections, colors and line work are fabulous!
Very well done!

I am so sorry that I don't have another 6 for you.
This is AWESOME. I love her.
She is what I would imagine Queen Joan from the tv show Knightfall to look like in armor and chain-mail.
Your details to both the armor and chain-mail are perfect. And I love her red hair. Love the poem.
Wonderful presentation, thanks for sharing and Good Luck in the Challenge.

This is outstanding work. You did a great job with graphite and pencils. I especially like the background and all the detail in it. The clothing is also full of detail. Her bright red hair pops against the green color. Nice composition and loved the poem attached to the artwork.

A well worded, poignant and skillfully written poem that very suitably accompanies this brilliantly composed illustration, which is a great touch and gives real substance to the piece overall. The wild red hair of the badly injured warrior strewn about and the anguished look on the face that lies in the foliage beneath sets the tone well and has superb attention to detail and accurate features and proportions. The intricacy in the structure and complexity of her chain mail armour is sublime, with excellent shading and the entire garment carefully and neatly composed. Her expression says it all; although the poem doesn't necessarily point towards her definite end (in my interpretation anyway!), so leaves it open to interpretation which I also find quite endearing. The green foliage and purple flowers upon which she has fallen are a great colour contrast to herself and the silver and grey chain mail, and accentuates the piece further. Fantastic work and all the best in the polls! :)

First let me say that the accompanying poem is lovely and well written. This is a well done portrait of a warrior that just happens to be a women. Her face and, features and hair are all well rendered. She does tend in some areas to get lost in the background. I don't think the armor is as successful, not sure why. It seems overly bright and reflective, but doesn't come off as reflective, hard or cold. (That is just my reaction to it.) Well done and presented.
