I like this close up can imagine this being used as a photo book cover. Everyone would be stroking it to see if they can actually feel the texture that is so clearly displayed on the photo. Due to the texture and great colour contrasts this makes the leaf a great subject to photo. I don't think it needs the classic water spray drops to bring this to life and glad it only has a very little.

A rather nice image of a rather unusual subject. Like the color, the image contains an aura of mystery. Can not decide if it is sharp or not but then not an issue as it is the overall impression and not the detail that makes it work. A rather interesting abstract that should have a great chance of wiinning the contest.

Nice abstracted image in a reality picture. The water drop in the center is a nice touch. I don't find a lot of interest in the part of the leaf you have selected and there is not a lot here that I want to study. The colors are good and the diagonal line adds some interest.

Well photographed to give us a close view of this variegated hibiscus leaf, I like the pink and greenish brown tones and the pattern they create in sections defined by the pink veins. I also liked the information you included in your notes! Well presented!
