A beautiful image although somewhat incongruous. I like the pinecones and needles in the background and the moth is outstanding. The deer skull gives a good sense of the size of the moth.

Very nice image. You have captured the moth very well, shame the one feeler is perfectly in line with the skull so that it disappears. The color treatment works very well. Focus is sharp throughout. Interesting composition. Well seen and well shot.

A wonderful picture of the deer skull on the forest floor among the pine cones & needles with a large Polyphemus Moth it's wings open to show off their beautiful patterns. Artistic composition beautiful framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus. Good Luck in the contest.

This is awesome! Very well composed with perfect placement of the deer skull near the pine cones! Very well photographed with great focus and such a clear view, nice details , good variety of textures and different shades of brown. Very well presented and a great entry for the contest!

What a beautiful moth deer skull combo this is. Very artistic eye you have to have spotted this opportunity. The spots on the back of the moth look like deer eyes too. Very spooky! :) R
