Well, even though we are competitors in the same contest I have to say this is stunning. You are unreal. If this was in color I would want to say something to the person because it is so realistic. Reasons for my six star vote.

Hi Linda thank you for sharing this stunning portrait of Ava.. You most certainly have done her justice in the most amazingly beautiful creation here , done in graphite pencil. Her facial features are so brilliantly defined. You have captured real emotion in her expression as she stares intently at something in her vision. Her eyes are stunning.. the fine detail used to shape them and just the right amount of shading above and below gives those eyes real depth and intensity.. The shape of her eyebrows using thicker strokes offer her that look of intrigue as though she is in deep thought.. I love the shadowing used to define her nose.. brilliantly crafted to produce a petite yet striking feature on her face. the light highlight to enhance her cheek bones is excellent and draws the eyes into her well shaped jaw line and beautifully shaped lips.. You have created a partial smile which enhances her appearance and offers that enchanting appeal to her face.. I love the tiny dimple defined on her chin.. amid the shading which defines her chin and neck line.. Her hair is beautifully rendered around her forehead. It is neatly penciled offering highlights throughout to emphasize her curls and the little tie used at the top of her head.. Love the shapely chest and shoulders with good shading to give form and shape to her upper arms and nicely covered breast area. The fine straps of her clothing apparel are a pleasant addition giving her elegance and grace .. The background with the light glow nicely blended around the outline of her head is a fabulous effect. almost as though she has an aura glowing from within.. and it really makes her stunning face pop ...
