Meg, this is amazing. Has an ethereal feel. Ghostly. Haunting. Perfect for the contest. So many different converging lines. Congratulations on your win. Well deserved.

A perfect entry for this contest. The composition is so interesting that it leaves me spending time exploring everything in the image. I am crazy for photos with nice leading lines and this shot has it in spades. The fog at the end of the rail lines makes this really interesting. Love it! Good luck in the contest.

Excellent entry for this contest. And a perfect composition for converting to Black and White. Your grays are good..showing the details. Contrast is good. I especially like the light at the end of the tracks. It does a good job of guiding my view completely down the tracks. The trees on the sides could be a bit much and interfering. I think you made a good choice to use black and white. Best of luck in the contest!

Excellent composition. Draws you into the screen with line and light. I really like the addition of the trees shown in here. It adds so much interest.

Your choice of black and white works here as does your square format. The lines from the tracks leads the us into your photography giving it dynamics. A good tonal range and contrast throughout your image. The fog just makes it magical. Outstanding photography and thanks for sharing.

Great use of black and white shooting in the fog always offers more in my opinion.
Your POV offers a nice vanishing perspective.
Nice leading lines, fine focus and nice contrast. The bare lace like branches from the trees frames the bride out naturally.
Nice work ;)

Ik vind dit een mooie zwart-wit foto, een prachtige compositie . Het lijnenspel van de brug en de rails zorgt ervoor dat de aandacht van de kijker geboeid blijft. Prima werk.

I am a huge fan of black and white photos because to me it amplifies the things tjat are hidden from color. I also love how when looking down the bridge the fog takes you to the unknown. Wonderful work!!

This is a good impression of diminishing perspective.

Your choice of B&W was spot on the money. This type of visual image is best portrayed in B&W because it keeps the viewers attention of the the leading lines of the bridge and tracks.

I like how you used the trees on either side to further lead the viewer - superior framing.

Excellent camera technique. Very deep DOF goes on to infinity.

As is this piece has a lot going for it in initial visual impact.

The center of interest is not centered and the camera angle is a little on the high side.

Overall a very good piece with a good story and creatively presented, should do well in the contest ... B-)) Bob

I saw this one as an entry for the contest and thought it was really cool. Your conversion to black and white is perfect for giving this a nice bit of drama and eye appeal. The lens effects give this that special look and feel. No doubt this will do well in the contest. Best of luck ~ Steve
