Yes, your dramatic scene does have a ghostly feel to it! Your nice classical composition offers us a good view of your winter location. Now starting to feel pretty cold! Sharpness and exposure are good. Well done!

Poor little tree indeed. Although what happened to the tree is a sad story, you did an excellent job with this photo. I love how you can see all of the snowflakes coming down. you did a wonderful job and I thank you again for sharing :)

Literally a cool shot!
Dead trunks look like sickly souls secretly searching for serenity...

Sorry to hear about the devastation in the early 60's...
I was just 3 years old that time.

A nostalgic rendition.
Melancholic presentation.
Monochromatic colors. Excellent details & features. Impressive setting & textures. Thanks for sharing...

Thank you so much! It was actually pretty mild temperature wise, but windy and snowing. I value and appreciate all of your support!

I am actually pretty used to being out in this type of weather, I have lived here my whole life . The roads were pretty slick though. Thank you very much for your review!

It's beautiful! A fine winter scene complete with falling snow. Great white balance control, superb stop action and great POV of this broken tree kissed with snow.
Nice work Pat!!

Wow more history. Can't believe you ventured out in that weather but glad you did or i would not have seen this. The falling snowflakes are gorgeous against the barren trees. It's quiet, serene and peaceful. Thanks you for the info in the earthquake . Amazing this is left as a reminder. Beautiful to my strange little eyes.
P.S. I did not get the e-mail please try again stikkel@bellsouth.net.

Thank you so very much! There is a whole large area covered with these dead trees, we call it the Ghost Forest. I am pretty used to this weather, we just have to drive with caution. I really appreciate your enthusiastic review and this supervsix rating!

Have been in such a storm, just not in Alaska. Quiet a story told by this photo and even with limited visibility you have nice depth to the piece and nice contrast between the snow and trees. Good focus also. Thanks for sharing and HAGD.

I thought for a minute this was a picture out my back door. This is the type of snow we have been having. Is the snow as deep as it appears? Well captured scene with much interest. Well done.

Thank you very much! Ugh I am tired of snow and we got more yesterday in Anchorage too! Yes, this snow in this image is very deep, it is the acumulation from the entire season out here.

This is really beautiful to look at. It is another one of your amazing photos that is well shot and composed in an artist way. Love the snow falling and the framing of the broken tree. Overall, this is a really cool shot.
