Acrobats in Central Park

Central park looks fascinating- it is on films etc so often, I feel almost familiar with it. Is that a man with drooping pants as is the fashion with the young now, even with some young women. I am of the age when clothes were meant to fit and I find this showing off my underpants somewhat ridiculous, but at 73 I am no longer an observer of fashions.

Combination of the fashion and the presentation. Thanks for the review.

Most interesting subject matter - as framed it has a lot of initial visual impact.

The colors are bright, bold and clear.

Excellent camera settings. this is a very well exposed capture. All the main elements are in fine focus.

Framing brings the viewers eye directly into the action.

I think the dark frame around the outside could be a little lighter.

Great action caught at the right time ... B-)) Bob

Thank you for the nice review and comments. I'll play around with the framing a little and see if I can make the shot better.

A very nice shot. The cropping is excellent and the vibrant colors are eye catching. I like the idea of a vignette, but this one is too pronounced for my tastes.

Thanks Mike. You aren't the only one who commented on the vignette being too dark. I'll see what I can do yo lighten it up a bit.

A very dramatic and interesting scene posted here! Your fine composition captures a truly magnificent moment in grand style! Exposure and sharpness are good. Deserves a 6, but I have none left! Great photo!!

Very interesting to view and good notes to describe it too! Well captured , good action freeze, well focused, the image is clear, good control of the lighting allowing the natural colors and tones. Well composed to show the action and the spectators too, it looks like someone is also photographing this with a phone camera! This is not something one would find when strolling a Park here in Anchorage! Well presented!

Not bad at all. I like this. Yes, I have seen many like this in Portland, Or. and its easy to get up close and hit. But anyways, this is a nice shot, colorful, clean, and clear. Love your story and thanks for presenting.

Impressive acrobatic act in vivid colors with vignette borders.
Well timed still motion shot.
Muscle flexibility, enduring strength & showmanship are needed to withstand this kind of performance--not to mention when the train is in motion!

Somebody took your picture too but he's on another site--not FAR!
Good perspective & long depth of field...
Thanks for sharing...

I can imagine how fun that would be to watch. The white underwear is the best part. Just kidding. Central Park is a special place. I stayed with a friend who lived on 87th street right near the park. Was supposed to be a good area, but the roaches really turned me off. Thank you fir sharing
