Hi there , thanks for sharing this amazingly well focused photo of two in one hit.. wow.. I love your capture here. Nature at its very best.. The native hibiscus draws my eye into the scene.. its ball of delightful colour and array of petals is a stunning display of joy and beauty all mixed in together.. as each of the petals unite in that circular formation.. my eyes cast down to this excellent snap shot of the brilliantly exposed butterfly Papilio dardanos hard at work pollinating this extraordinary bloom. The intricate pattern on the butterfly wings is appealing in every way. Its earthy hues blend nicely together showing off its beauty .. as it clings to the petals in order to do nature's task.. I just love the pollen loaded "tail" shown as it precisely pollinates the pistils below.. your camera work is exceptional here.. and the detail is exquisite.. The pistil hanging from the base of the bloom is a delightful addition and the angle used to capture your shot is perfect .. It combines all the featuring statements in the scene together in a most balanced and appealing way. The dark background with the occasional green splash of colour is a wonderful contrast to the flowering sensation and the butterfly. The inclusion of the flower stem is a nice addition allowing the mind's eye to visualize the hibiscus shrub itself.. The photo truly emanates a feeling of happiness, and allows me to really marvel in the joys of nature.. thanks for sharing your amazing capture.. it is an absolute delight to review. best of luck in the contest. cheers mel

A beautiful Butterfly Papilio dardanus ~ the African swallowtail & a beautiful & exotic looking species Hibiscus schizopetalus in soft scarlet with it's doward curving pistil & stamens all contrasting beautifully with the dark hooker's green background with sunshine seen as it radiates through the canopy above. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
good luck in the contest.
Susan

A fine image of the Swallowtail and the Hibiscus. The butterfly is nicely centered within the flower parts seemingly cradled. The dark background really makes the subject pop. Best of luck in the contest voting ~ Steve

This is beautiful! The lovely red frilly shaped petals almost for a ball at the top, then the butterfly then the intricate stamen and pistils curving at the bottom and touching the butterfly! This is a very lucky find! Very beautiful to view ! Best to you in this contest!
