Thank you very much for the great review! I used a 70-300 telephoto zoom lens at 300mm so I was able to photograph him from a far enough distance that he didn't fly away.

I think this photograph is amazing. It immediately caught my attention and is the perfect entry for the contest. The dragon just glitters and stands out beautifully against the lovely green background. The detail is wonderful and the slight bokeh effect is just right.
