I hope this lamb stays a pet. Sheep are wonderful creatures -- much more intelligent than most people give them credit for. On the Internet you can find dog versus sheep cutting contests where a sheep competes with the dogs as "the sheep dog." Sheep are also being inhumanely used in lab tests -- I don't recall exactly but I think it is because their nervous system and thinking processes are so similar to humans. This kind of development concerning sheep is no joke. I refuse to eat their meat for this reason. I am in a hurry now, but could find you some links verifying all this. Once this lamb bonds he could become as loyal as a little dog. In one post I saw on youtube a lady who raises sheep keeps one of them in her house and walks it like a dog, with her dog! Got to go! So sweet. I know that joy. Growing up in Cincinnati we lived out in the country and a had a little lamb, too. This picture is adorable and very well framed. Great lighting and cropping. Sweet composition. Lambs make good pets. We had three sheep, one ram and a few lambs. And apple trees.
