I really like when you take photos like this because then I know you used correct camera settings.
See how sharp he is and how soft your DOF is? No mixed media needed. It's clean and sharp as is.
Superb clarity and fine feather details.
Fine capture of this little posing Green heron Shadow!
Bravo ;)

This close up view is wonderful, and it makes him look so small! His legs look like they are practically half the size of his body. This is really a nice show of his face. The background looks especially good too. Very nice!!

What is their to say but kudos for another spectacular photograph. You should contact State Farm and see whether they will do a bird calendar for their annual calendar give away. I am sure that they would pay for the rights. They do two different calendars a year.

What a gorgeous bird. You took a wonderful photo with great lighting and sharpness. You have captured all of his detail with perfection. I love the way he looks like he is gently holding onto the branch. Wonderful work!

What is the bird? I would guess it is a bird that fishes judging by the beak. Your focus it superb. It is clear enough that you can clearly see the expression in it's eye. The blurred background just adds to the sharpness of the bird.

It is called the Little Green Heron. I know, you don''t see much green in him, but that is his official name. Thanks so much!!
