Awesome capture of this beautiful blue bird ! I love his position looking down from the Branch ! Well focused, the image is clear, the blue really pops against the Black and White surroundings! I love the patterns on his tail feathers, it almost looks like a stained glass pattern! Best to you in the contest!

Wow! What a beautiful bird! Very nicely captured image. Love the striking blue with the muted background. I especially like it's not the usual bird shot. Really like the clarity and detail in the birds patterns. Great shot!

A lovely shot of a very colorful bird. We have them and cardinals in our hedge and I love to watch their antics. His striking blue color is a nice contrast to the black and white background. Best wishes in the contest.

A very nicely composed shot and an effective use of selective coloration. This is a bluejay not a bluebird in case you're interested. Best wishes in the contest.

Thank you so much and yes I know it?s a blue jay. I guess I should put blue jay but for the purpose of the photos called it a blue bird. Silly me.

I sure wish I knew how to do that....I mean add one specific color to something. I have not any clue whatsoever. However, the blue you selected is perfect and set off by the monochrome background definitely gives it more pop than it probably needs....it is just a beautiful bird on its own merit, is what I am trying to say. It is a great entry for this contest that can go both ways....the way you presented it...black and white and then adding one color or a photo of just one color focused on. I prefer what you done here. EXCEPTIONAL. I love how he is looking down at you. That gives him so much personality. Thanks for sharing and I wish you the best at the voting booth.

Thank you so much. It?s very easy to do. If you are using Lightroom you just put all the saturation colours to -100 and only add the colour you want to add. You can add more then one colour. It adds the true colours back.

Wow this is a striking image. I love color against monochrome backgrounds and this is why. The subject seems to be of another world! Beautiful photo!

This is just beautiful. What a great entry for the contest. I love the blue bird as your subject, it works so well for this
Competition. The excellent detail and black and white accents in the bird really make it eye catching and appealing to view. I love the vignette, it works so well in aiding the bird to just pop. A fabulous contender and possibly a winner. Love it.
