A beautiful bird and my very favorite from your garden. His colors are fantastic and this profile shows both his eye and his plumage to great advantage.

    Mike,
    Thanks a million for your complementary review on this Robin that let me get within just ten feet of it & did not immediately fly off.

I love these Robins! This is well captured with good focus, the image is clear, nice feather detail, good eye contact. Well exposed, natural colors and tones, I like the way he seems to be posing for you! Well presented!

    Pat,
    Thanks a million for your complementary review on this semi tame Robin who now does not immediately fly off, if I open the door unless I move towards it. I believe there were some attempts to bring them to America but sadly it failed.

I am very familiar with this feeding situation. We have a robin which watches us when we put feed out in the mornings!! Your nice image benefits from a good central composition, it's sharp and well exposed. Nicely done!

    Nik,
    Thanks a million for your complementary review he is becoming almst as "friendly" as the Robin in 2010 that I could stand at an arm's length away before it flew.

a very good close up of my prefered bird; LOL
good framing, albeit more space in front would be better;
sharp focus with natural colors;
