This piece truly says under the sea.
I love the way the light is spotlighting your Mermaid, and the way the water is swirling around her with her hair.

A fascinating and wonderfully detailed and intricate piece, showing this Mermaid or lady submerged in a busy and vibrant path of the ocean, with fantastic shades of blue throughout relative to light and depth that you have created, that forms a good B/G for the plethora of marine flora and fauna all around her - turtles, fish, coral, octopus, a sea horse, and bizarrely but somehow fittingly a horse too behind her! An excellent sense of depth and layered structure to it, creating a good 3D effect, as towards the back of the piece the light is cast onto the fainter rocks that lead up towards the surface and other plant life - then a mysterious female face in a unique body, the mystery of who she is remains which is a nice touch. Great, detailed work with a good choice of many colours throughout, giving the piece a bright and bold feel - best of luck in the contest! :)
