This is soooo beautiful. The dome fretwork and relief figures are so detailed. We cannot afford artisans that do this kind of work today. The stained glass at the top is a lovely finish of the hand work as the eye travels upward.

The interior of this dome just looks fantastic, and I especially like your perspective, and the very tight cropping.
Your photo is just pin sharp and it is indeed clear and well defined details to be seen in every part of the dome. The exposure is just spot on.
The format and framing works so well, and is probably even more effective that showing the whole circle. I think this is a beautiful and well taken photo, and with an excellent DOF.

This is an impressive capture. To bad we can't see the entire inside of the dome.
Colors are strong and bold.
The image is well focused, clear and well exposed.
Good initial visual impact.

The colors are well presented...again, throughout your piece. You're right about what a gorgeous dome this is....and you have shown it really well. My one issue, however, is that it's a bit jarring where you've cut it off....especially at top frame. I imagine you were trying to show more detail doing it that way....but would have liked to see it not dissected at the top.

I thought I recognized those images of Abe Lincoln around the edges of this dome!!! You were within 8 miles of my home! I have this same dome in my portfolio..... !!! Great job with your camera. Was this handheld? I would love to know more about your visit to my home city!!
