Wow! Did you really take this on with your Ivan camera? It's hard to believe! The warm colors are gordeous! If you looked at it once for 30 seconds, is impossible to forget the image. It,s magical!!!

Cyber six! This is fantastic all the way through! Beautiful dramatic fiery sunset colors, in the sky and repeating back on the weather, the Egret standing in silhouette against the beauty of the night! The sun itself is well placed in the off center position , horizon line is straight and well placed, Egret looks amazing just to the left of the sun! Beautiful work and truly a pleasure to view!

Nice silhouette shot. Vibrant colors that really grab the eye, a good strong silhouette that shows the bird well. A good sense of movement in the water. That being said, I am bothered by all of the other satellite shadows in the image, The leaves in the top corner add nothing, I would either get rid of them or use a lot more of them to make a real statement. The smaller tings in the water, which i assume are rock, but I wouldn't swear to it, are a distraction and don't add much in context. Same is true for some of the ones at the bottom of the image. Overall there is a nice feel to this shot. Well seen.

No need to be sorry. I can only give you my reactions to the work, and I will be honest about what I see. Ultimately it is your piece and must carry your vision.

Wowzers! Orange Crush plus a silhouette Egret equals sunset beauty!
Well Bud, this is so pretty it draws us in to this Be Still and know Moment. Even the Egret is taking a moment.
Love the fire glow and the crisp silhouettes.
Fine work Captain Farkle!!

A beautiful beach scene with great saturated colors. The silhouetted heron is attractive and well placed in the frame. I like the leaves in the corner and think the digital effects are well chosen and skillfully applied.

Steve, first I love this image, just as is. The horizontal frame is perfect for this great silhouetted image of the egret.
Your colors draw us in and the little bits around show themselves off in a special way.
Great job!

I think also this one would have done well in the silhouette contest, because the sunset looks just fabulous. Perhaps it is the filters you have used making the colors so vibrant, but the visual impact is indeed strong.
The Egret is standing out sharp and well defined, and it is also a lovely light in the photo.
I also think the composition is fine with the bird bit off to the right. I think this is a striking and well taken photo, and with a very good DOF.

This looks to surreal almost as if the egrets been added to the scene, sure its not steve but that's how I think it comes across, maybe also the vivid orange color adds to that illusion, think if you crop on the right making it a touch more vertical, would improve this...Brian

Thanks Brian. No the Egret was not added. This is as close as I could get to these fellows with my little iPhone. These are the times I wish I had a real camera with a long lens. I will check out your suggestion of cropping in from the right. Thanks ~ Steve
