I can hear the twigs popping as the flames engulf them. Nice depth and movement. Your color choices are spot on. The viewer can really feel the heat. Lovely.

Hi Suzanne!
It's another of your interesting Experimental pieces that's great fun to view,my friend! : )
The different 'elemental' coloration is especially appealing!
'Good Show'!
Sean!

Oh. My. Goodness. This is gorgeous! I love how abstract the colors are and how they all go together so well! The yellow really pops which is beautiful! Nice Job!

This is amazing to view! The darker lower portion with the flames in the various tones moving upward really looks like a fire, I can see smoky areas here too! I love the way you give this the upward motion of a fire! The colors are beautiful together, it reminds me of a campfire! Well presented!

Thanks so much, Pat, for your lovely review. Yes, I think it was more of an impression of a camp fire rather than an abstract but whatever it was, it was great fun to do with this technique! I'm very pleased you like it. Suzanne

Suzanne,
A beautiful living fire blazing fiercely the only things missing are the smell of smoke & the noise of the branches crackling as they burn. Created with very skilful choice of colours blending & your methods of application in bring this scene to life.

I am enjoying you playful work using this partially random application technique. I see this as more impressionistic than abstract. The fire and embers are reasonably obvious. Nice movement in the piece all with an upward energy, grounded in the darker base. Well imagined.

Sounds like this was fun to make. I was wondering what the silicone was for? Love your color choices that you layered on. They painting looks fiery and there are some very interesting shapes that look like people if you look hard enough.

Many thanks, Karen, for your great review. Yes, it's great fun - the silicone can create some interesting holes and marks in the paint. I'm experimenting at the moment as I think the silicone glue I have is perhaps a bit too thick as it takes a while to mix in so I'm going to try some other sort, probably PVA to see if that works! The colors reflect the flames and I think Big Bird is over to the right. Color choice is excellent. Glad you are having fun with these. Thanks for sharing. Susan

It certainly looks like fire flames!
You are having fun with this new technique and each one is unique.
The abstract flames show nice movement and a fine ebb and flow of fire colors.
Very Hot piece Suzanne!!
