What an awesome find! So precious. You captured a very nice image with good light in the eye. I can imagine you were being as quiet as possible. Your notes are interesting too. Perfect contest entry.

A very nice animal shot presented here along with a caring and touching story! Your fine full and central composition offers us an enjoyable look at your newborn. Sharpness and exposure are OK. Well done!

What a lovely photo. The little doe almost blends into the ground. You have framed him well. Nice soft lighting and exposure.

The fawn blends in very well with the leaves and foliage around it. The photo clear and in exceptional focus. It is a darling photo and a rare catch. Well done and thank you so much for sharing.

You have given me a grand smile with this post - so innocent and wonderful this little one. Focus is offered up perfectly with hairy detail and a grand capture of this little one's eye. Great color as well - natural over the frame. I've begun short walks through the woods myself hoping for a bit of luck like this!!! Thanks for sharing and good luck in the contest!

Wow, so cute, never show such a young fawn, like you to be able to shot it

the photo is a bit bright and the fawn a bit lost on the background, but I understand there was no other way of taken the photo

thanks for sharing

Many thanks for both viewing and leaving a review! The fawns' spotted coat helps break up it's shape, making it harder for predators, which are color blind, th see it!
