Great capture of this beautiful newborn Fawn nestling in the leaves and blending in so well with the background - great camouflage. Excellent lighting and focus showing great detail. Lovely composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Hi and thanks for sharing this most adorable little fawn so new to the world. Love your photo.. the exposure, lighting and angle used are perfect and really allow me to see the very fine features of this gorgeous new born precious fawn. His markings are stunning.. and the fur on his little head seems even a wee bit moist from his recent birth.. such a soft delicate face with that creamy hue that accentuates his eyes so nicely.. interesting shades of reddish brown on his inner ear. Not sure if that is blood from the birthing process .. those delightful white splashes of colour that contrast beautifully against his tan coat are most likely his own unique characteristic touches of beauty, resembling those of his parents in some fashion .. He looks so cute and cuddly all curled up amongst the leaf litter on the ground. it is interesting to see how well his coat blends in with the leaf litter.. I wonder if his mother is totally aware of that and so feels comfortable to give birth in such a setting.. Love those splashes of green foliage that are almost forming a ring around his tiny frame.. they bring a touch of contrast and brightness to the scene and are a lovely inclusion in your photo.. They almost help highlight this little beauty as he rests quietly waiting for his mother to return to the scene.
The picture truly emanates a joyful and tender emotion. shows the wonders of nature and the glorious warmth a new born of any species brings to the heart... thank you for sharing .. it has been a truly pleasurable review to enjoy this little fawn new to the world. . cheers mel best wishes to you in the contest.

A beautiful picture of the new born Fawn lying curled up in among the fallen leaves the colours of which are seen in it's silky coat making it harder to spot but with your sharp focus I can easily see, it's ears & that eye giving it away. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

How keen of you to spot this baby amongst the brown and white leaves. It is so cool the way nature programs these newborns to stay put until the mother tells them to move. Great entry for this contest.

Amazing capture! Wow ! This new born fawn is precious and beautiful! Well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, well exposed allowing the natural colors and tones of this fawn and surroundings, well presented and tells a story of brand new life!
