Too much sky area!
Crop the brighter portion (33%) and you'll place the horizon perfectly on the lower third grid line...

Nik,
A dramatic & beautiful sunset over the sea at Crosby, Lancs. The "Army" of wind turbines adding drama to the scene seeming to fill the view from the horizon to infinity in the soft orange sky above the grey blue of the Irish sea. Artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A dramatic & beautiful sunset over the sea at Crosby, Lancs. The "Army" of wind turbines adding drama to the scene seeming to fill the view from the horizon to infinity in the soft orange sky above the grey blue of the Irish sea. Artistic composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

This looks quite like our North Sea here on the East Coast where we have many wind turbines about 5 miles out in the sea although they look to be much nearer. Lovely sunset colours in the sky with the greyish-blue water contrasting well. Very good lighting and focus showing a crisp image. Very good composition. Suzanne

A fantastic capture taken with amazing long, clear DOF and super sharp clarity that shows the turbines crisply and clearly at different angles and distances (depth & width wise) from one another, creating a great layered effect and taken from a great POV, is it over a field or water? either way the fantastic colour contrast between the grey in the fore and the ruler straight line leading to the many hues of the brown sunset, lightening as it heightens fantastically. The turbines in the distance also give good scale to the well composed, brilliant piece and work of art - great work :)

I took this shot standing on the promenade at Crosby which is a fair bit higher than the beach, so giving me a fair bit of the sea. Very many thanks for your detailed, thoughtful review and that big 6!

I love windmill generators...so much prettier than nuclear power plants and much safer. The sunset is soft and dreamy and creates a nice contrast to the industrial scene.
