What a nice sight to see! You picked up a good amount of detail of their faces and their coats. I think the dappled sunlight is flattering.

Good shot for Trifecta. Deer typically look at you when you are taking their picture, they seem to focused on something else. I might have shortened the Depth of field to take some of the background out of play, but you have to get these shots quickly. Good luck in the contest.

thanks,,yes they certainly had there attention on something else,,there were 8 of them,,most where in the forest behind them,,

Around here the deer have gotten ridiculously bold over the past 10 or 20 years and now maraud throughout subdivisions like they own them. This is a very good shot in a great woodland setting. I like your yard a lot. The snow is beautiful and well exposed and the three deer should serve you well in the contest. Best of luck in the voting.

thanks,,yes it has become a playing field for them,,this group which consists of 8 comes everyday,,thanks about my yard,,there is nothing back there but acres of land and I have also seen a wolf back there last January chasing a deer, my camera is always near me lol
