I like the combination of flower types and the variety. You have created each flower's color and shape of petals so well. The leave and the highlights look nice too.

Very pretty painting of your flower garden. I love the variety of flowers and colors. Nice background greenery as a backdrop to the flowers. Nice filling of your canvas with all the plants and flowers. Great visual impact as well. Good luck in the contest. ~Alveria

Wow! A gorgeous piece with the Spring flowers of daffodils and tulips. Your brush strokes and flowers beautifully created with shading and blending of colors. A closer look ....of a unique background of textures and patterns....I love the effect of the black and whites strokes accentuating your art work so beautifully. A creative and talented art work. Thanks for sharing. A good contender for The Art of Flowers contest and good luck.

You have an beautiful garden. I like how you have arranged the flowers in your painting almost in a triangle. It looks as if the garden is planted for the enjoyment of humans and animals. I am sure bees and other nectar eaters are frequent visitors. The yellow flowers draw my eye into the painting, but then I am drawn to the white, the pink and blue. I could wander through those spring colors all day.

I love the amount of texture you incorporated into this work. The colors image and composition are wonderful but the texture is what makes this fantastic. Good job.

There is a good tonal balance to this painting Suzanne, greens are never easy to handle en masses. One thing I would change slightly, that would be to tone down the white blooms at the bottom, which jump out a bit. A little touch of blue or yellow, in my opinion would enhance the overall look of the wo derful triangular floral display. Well done.

It's lovely.

I am hoping to have some inspiration like this soon. My parents are redoing our backyard.

I think it is nice how all of your flowers pop out against that black background.

Adorable flowers.

Great painting, thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much, Minnie, for your very nice review. I'm not keen on a regimented type of garden but prefer a bit of chaos in mine! Suzanne

I can't wait to see what chaos we can come up with in our backyard.

Nicely rendered strokes creating a Diminishing perspective of these multicolored blooms & florets!
Vanishing viewpoint creates a great depth.
Subtle illumination.
Harmonious colors.
Good perspective & long depth of field...
