This line work is very well done. What I like is that even though there is no intense shading, you can still see detail in the drawing. This would also make a great painting. Well done and thanks for sharing this fantastic drawing with us. :)

Yes. Line drawings look best in black ink. I use them always in different sizes ranging from 0.1 to 1,0 mm. This is a nice work with smooth flow of lines. The finished drawing has balance and has the feel of spontaneity. Good luck!

Viewing your Blue Heron daring reminds me that lines and shapes are often the impression that ast in the mind of and serious viewer. Your have sued yout lines and shapes with shadows to create and excellent drawing that could make an excellent piece to display in a frame and hung on that special wall for others to enjoy.
