Wow, love your notes about this singing territorial little bird. I love the dark head. Looks like he has a hood on. He looks mighty serious. Beautiful framing with soft lighting.

This is a wonderful shot of the Bulbul bird! These are also found in India. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

What a different looking bird. Very stately looking with a watchful eye. The background with the stems and leaves make him look even more protective. Great photo. Susan

What a gorgeous bird Grace with excellent focus on its facial features. The eyes are very sharp and the color of its head is beautiful. It reminds me of a dark cardinal with wonderful natural colors.
Crisp and clear and a fantastic view with wonderful artist notes. Pleasure to view.

What an extraordinaire bird and capture of this Bulbuls. Since the eyes are so sharp they draw you into your photography. Your sharp focus and beautiful lighting revealing beautiful details of the feathers and markings of this gorgeous specimen. I love also the bright the eyes. Your blurred background complimenting your photography beautifully. Outstanding photography and thanks for sharing!

Interesting notes accompanying this lovely shot of the beautiful Bulbul, perched on the branch with the twigs and foliage in the background creating interesting patterns. Excellent lighting and focus, as always with your shots, Grace. Lovely composition. Suzanne

Grace,
A beautiful picture of the Common Bulbul perched on the forked branch watching you closely it's dark head blending in with the dark background but with your razor sharp focus & lighting we can see it clearly the pale patterned breast stands out in this light. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

That's a very good looking picture,Grace, and it sounds like this is a fascinating species of bird indeed!
That does seem to be a rather Eagerly Combative expression that it's wearing, doesn't it? : )
