I think this is a very good entry for a contest like this, and I especially like how lovely the light is shining through the curtains. The oil lamp looks lovely and is giving this scene a lovely atmosphere.
Your photo is of course also nice and sharp and it is clear and well defined details to be seen in the curtains and the lamp. I also think the exposure is very good.
The cropping is perfect, and the window with the table underneath is well placed within the frame. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.

I really like the contrast in light and darkness you created with this scene. The Old Masters were e parts at recording this type of light drama in a composition and you have done so too. Just lovely.

I like this scene, the light coming through the window allowing a view of the old lamp placed near the blue doily on the table, I like the curtains and the way the light comes through them too, I think I would remove the object that looks like a candle in the holder from the window frame as it keeps drawing my eye, best to you in the contest!
