Wow, what a nice painting with such a deep and loving message to go with it. This piece of art spoke to me and it meant more to me after I read your inspiration for it. I love it. You certainly captured what you were looking for. I love the light and shadows in this piece. The intent look on the fac3 of the mother and the fully open and trusting look on the fac3 of the child speaks to their bond. A lovely story.

You are getting a lot of mialage out of that background. BTW congratulations on taking 2nd place. This is a lovely image with good color and detail. I know they are concentrating, but I don't feel the relationship between them and I don't sense that they are enjoying the game or activity. Just my humble opinion. The figures are well created. Nice job. Good luck in the contest.

Wonderful initial impact, I see a mother with her daughter on her lap as they concentrate on the screen before them, both with such intense concentration on the workings of the game, this shows both the activity in this moment and the close relationship between the mother and her daughter, this is a very up to date , the mother is beautiful with her hair pulled back off her face and put into a bun at her crown, she has dark eyes and tan skin tones, nice facial features very well applied, she wears a green tank top, the girl wears her hair down, it frames her face and falls past her shoulders, she wears a blue tee shirt, well applied details in her face and her features are in perfect proportion ,the warm read to yellow background showcases the subjects and brings them forward. It's enjoyable and very impressive to view, a great testament to your obvious ability, you definitely present exactly what you intended to by reading your notes! Although this is a mother and daughter, it reminds me of doing this same thing with my grand daughter! Thank you for sharing this!
