It's a very cute bird, and one that I don't think I have seen before, it's a great entry for the contest beyond the cage, the cage is blurry and over exposed causing the bird to be over exposed in the light spots on his face, you do have good eye contact complete with a catch light. Best to you in the contest.

I agree. These birds often outlive their handlers. This is a wonderful scene of their sad plight in captivity. It is an excellent entry for this contest. Best of luck in the voting booth.

I could not agree more about its freedom. A nice shot for this contest with the focus on the bird and not the cage. Great colors and a great eye. Best of luck in the contest.

It looks as if the bird is in a small dark enclosure. I agree it should be free, at least it should not be in a small dark cadge.
I am thorn about wildlife parks. They might be the only chance of survival for some species. This bird is hunted for its feathers, meat and for illegal trade by poor and uneducated native people who sell them to the animal-mafia for pennies. It is an good shot adequate for the contest. The cage has to be in the photo, but it is blurred and your focus is on the bird. The colors and features of the bird are defined. I think you could burst the exposure and contrast a bit. In my opinion this would be of benefit for the photo.
