I feel sorry for the camel being all alone in all that space, very good details as nd depth and a great story of lonelyness, a pleasure to look at, thank you for sharing, and good luck in the contest, dale

Great contest entry! A lonely desert, perfect. He is so lonely he doesn't even have any water.Good thing camels can go for a long time without drinking. Poor guy. I wouldn't want to be him.
Great photo. Nicely framed. Great blue sky with puffy white clouds against the vast desert and purple mountains.
Very well captured. Good luck in the contest. This is a great contender!

That is lonely certainly good cropping at creating that effect. Good lighting and solid focus points. I know if i was there by myself I would be lonely,

Just had a thought do camels get lonely?

Very good entry for the contest showing the lonely camel in the desert in Southern Morocco. You've captured the lonely feeling showing the vast expanse of desert - looks a long way to those mountains. Very good lighting and focus. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

An excellent composition and an exquisite piece of photography that is nothing short of mind blowing visually - perfect for the competition and positioned brilliantly to really capture the solitary feel of the lone camel in this vast and barren desert, with pin sharp clarity and excellent long DOF that emphasises the scale and size of this arid area, peppered with green foliage that is resiliently surviving in this dry and dusty brown desert which creates nice contrast and texture - the Camel is captured beautifully in a side on portrait that shows the shape and frame of the creature brilliantly, and literally stands out a mile with the space chosen in front you have mentioned; the detailed fluffy clouds in the light blue sky and lighter sands beyond and above are captured sublimely, almost looking computer generated in their clarity - and the mountains in the distance clearly defined and giving again a great sense of scale and real sense of this vastness. A pure work of art; a pleasure to view and no doubt a winning choice for the competition. Outstanding. :)

A beautiful picture of the solo Camel out in the desert with the Atlas mountains in the far distance & low fluffy white clouds floating over head like an Army on a march providing the Camel some shade from the hot sun above. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

I do believe that your composition is spot on for the emotion you are trying to convey! That isolated camel certainly looks lost and alone! Well done and good luck!

Wonderful initial impact: This is a beautiful image, the lone camel on the desert, no other life around, this is well photographed with good focus, the image is clear to view, well controlled lighting, colors and tones are natural, well composed with I/3 sky 2/3 land, mountains in the distance show the vastness of this land. Very well presented, best to you in the contest!

The barrenness and solitude of this lane camel does evoke a feel of loneliness. The deep horizon line provided by the distant mountains creates a sense that the desert expanse goes on forever. Best of luck in the contest.
