I think both the dog and your granddaughter are truly sweet, and while the dog seems totally uninterested in the photo shoot, she is giving you a big bright and lovely smile. Her eyes are so full of light, and you have taken such a fine photo of the both of them.

Your photo is nice and sharp as always and it is clear and well defined details to be seen. I also think the exposure is good.

The way you have cropped the photo works really well, and the two of them are well placed within the frame. I think this is a lovely and well taken photo Willie, and I wish you luck with the contest.

Beautiful subjects! Very well photographed with good focus, the image is clear, well exposed allowing natural colors and tones, great smile on your granddaughter's face, she looks so happy ! Adorable yellow lab puppy ! This looks like a Christmas scene, perhaps the puppy was a gift! Well presented! Great entry for the contest , best to you!
