Very interesting and well done photograph. His stance gives him an attitude. The black and white was a good choice. The water behind him looks like it is glowing with sunshine. The side ways glance of the bird is a great pose. Nice work. Good luck in the contest.

Not sure what you did with this one to get this look, but it is unique and looks somewhat like a painting. Good pose of the bird. Just a tad tight on the cropping but not enough to make a difference. Great entry for the contest and the best of luck Seshadri ~ Steve

The crow is well captured, having pin sharp detail. The white spots vat the background are a bit distracting. I assume your phone is equipped with different programmes including filters. It seems you used one of those programs, because it is black and white and the background seems filtered. I see only one way to darken those white spots. Transfer the photo to your computer, isolate the background and then darken it. Giving a tad of Gaussian blur afterward might improve the background further.

A beautiful picture of this jet black gleaming Carrion Crow or Raven, it head turned to get a better look at you. The sunlight catching the gleam on it's jet black plumage & the twinkle in it's eye. Beautiful composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.
