I like the leathery looking texture of the petals on this lovely rose. The rain drops give it that freaks from the garden look. The dark background is the perfect framing for its blended beauty.

My flowers just all seem to have that extra sparkle when I photograph them at night Marsha. Of course, the rain helped too on this particular evening. I do so appreciate the marvelous review you've given my new piece and especially thank you for sharing a gold star w/ it. You're a doll Marsha.

Although they're the common pink colored variety you're great looking photo of this beautiful Orange one reminded me of them!

Your focus is spot on and sharp showing such clear and well defined details in all the petals of the rose, and the exposure is spot on.
The photo is nicely cropped and the rose has got such a fine placement within the frame. A truly beautiful and well taken photo Deborah, and with an excellent DOF.
