I love the way you've incorporated different hues of pink . The riot of colour on the page makes it even more appealing . It was a pleasure looking at this piece of work . Keep up the good work !

It's not been that hot...and we always have 25mph of wind daily.
I have zero complaints on weather since Irma. Cheapest electric bills in 25 yrs! And I have cathedral ceilings!
Anyway.. Pretty in Pink indeed Linda!! So kind of you to mention Mary Lynn. She is a lady of talent and truth. She has grown so much behind her lens since she joined here.
Your shades of pink, red, green and smidge of orange all blend well in this field of harmonious flowers. Pink is my least favorite color, but I find myself drawn to this. So you worked your magic on me!
Great work!!

Love this flower garden with all its various flowers and the overall hue of pink and red. I especially like how many different kinds of blooms you have in this painted garden, Beaitifully detailed and the abstract ones add an illusion of imperfection that looks incredible. Lovely tones of the added green and a splendid use of pastels.

Nice Linda. I love the riot of color and whimsical-ness of this piece.
I do not quite know why, but I feel like I am looking at flowers underwater. It has the feel of a secret underwater garden to me.
Perhaps its the bit of blue in the upper right and the bits that could be construed to be bubbles.
Really wonderful brush strokes that add a a wonderful texture to the piece.
Very well done.

What a beautiful and cheery work of art! Love the colors and variety you chose. I love the feel of the chaotic wild garden. This picture equals happiness. Thank you for sharing and brightening our day!

This is a very pretty artwork. It would be a good fit for the pink art contest. Love all the pinks and purple tones. They look amazing with splashes of soft green mixed in. Great job.

Thank you so very much. I wish I had waited to enter that contest, but a lesson learned.

First of all... Beautiful dedication to Stringbean. That was really nice of you.

Secondly...I really love your painting. All the different shades of pinks with the reds and coral mixed in between not to mention the green stems here and there. It is really a lovely piece. I like that you kept it tall vertically instead of horizontally.

Thirdly..it is a perfect entry for this contest... I am sure you will be in the top three if not number one.

I cannot stop looking at it. It is so fresh looking; so inviting....it just seems to draw the viewer into it somehow and the viewer wants to go no questions asked. Thanks for sharing this beautiful painting. Wishing you all the best as the committee decides which entry is the best....I WILL BE BACK to congratulate you as a winner...(smile)

So if I am understanding correctly, you used watercolors and acrylics? Either way it is a beautiful painting! I think the shades of the background colors peeking through are very pretty and your various brushstrokes on your flower petals look great, especially the multicolored petals.

Thank you. Yes, I did the base background in watercolors. The flowers and leaves are all acrylic.
