I like what you've done with this shot of the beautiful dainty white bell-shaped flowers which look as if they're made of some delicate material. Yes, they do resemble Lily of the Valley which is also my favourite flower. The background you created works so well. Really lovely composition. Suzanne

Their stamens pointing down and out of The bells. The supporting greenery in focus balances the Branch , the blurred background brings it forward. Your edits were very effective . This is a beautiful composition and a true pleasure to view! I do not know the exact name of this flower.

I am not schooled in photo shop but I am impressed with the techniques you used on this composition. The flowers appear to be made of white silk. They make me think of Lily of the Valley and my mom as that was her favorite flower. Your techniques resulted in a fine hand painted looking piece.

Hi Linda, Since Mother's Day is this weekend I am more than pleased to think I created something that made you think of your mom. I thought of Lilies of the Valley when I saw these flowers too. These flowers were actually on a shrub and last year was my first encounter with them. To know you thought of the flowers as silk made my day. So glad you enjoyed! What a cool and creative piece of art! Very neatly done! I like the outlining on the flowers. It really makes them pop out at you. The greens are nice and mellow, great clarity and the main focus is the plant itself! Very pretty to look at! Thank you for sharing! :D

Until last year I didn't know this flowery shrub existed. It was one of those plants you just had to get a picture of. For images like this I found outlining them adds a nice pop from the background. I'm always working on ways to give the images as much of a 3D look as I can. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece. Thanks for the great review! :o) Helvi

After all the changes you made the mixed media took on a super-natural look of a magnified mystery. The viewer things those bells are musical instruments of fairy realms. I almost hear them ringing in the wind. The branch stands out sharply from the background. The shallow green background emphasizes the perfectly. The composition is balanced and well framed.
