I can see why this image would catch your eye. The color red draws you in then you see the rest of the character such as the flower box and tools and lace curtains.
Perfectly framed. Amazing detail. This photo is filled with character.
A pleasure to view.
The simple things in life. It is so nice to appreciate everything around us. From majestic mountains to a window filled with interest. You do it all splendidly!

This caught my eye as well. I like the simplicity of your composition because the subject speaks for itself. The color palette is limited do to the nature of the subject, but the colors are especially vivid and there is so much detail to see which would overwhelm the viewer if there would be any more. The textures are many. The rough wood textures are in interesting contradiction with the precious lace curtains, the natural flowers and the rusty tools.

The red window against the silver grey tones of the weathered wood siding is spectacular. I love the flour sack print curtain hanging in the window. The rust on the head of the ax adds another wonderful texture. I am planning a series on beautiful windows and would love to paint this. Just superb!

Cool,Pat!
A very interesting scene with a look that makes a viewer wonder : " What's inside of that building?"
Something mysterious perhaps? : D
'Good Show'!
