You are just so creative! What a clever idea to incorporate flowers. I think your flowers turned out almost as nicely as if you had drawn them out and painted them with a brush! The background colors look great too.

Suzanne,
A beautiful picture of these impressionist flowers standing out from their green backdrop I can see a pink Rose, abRed& gold Poppy & two beautiful Delphinium blooms in the foreground. Created by your artist's eye for colours & the effect of mixing one another & for your use of the straw in blowing at the wet pairs on the canvas to create the flowers.

Oh, I'd honestly say this is better than the abstract ones.
The colors & shapes must be conducive for brain appreciation & interpretation!
Harmonious colors.
Palpable impasto strokes.
Verdant backdrop pops out the colors so nicely...

Compact framing.
Bright lighting.

Fantabulous Impressionism!

Very nice. I am amazed at the control you have with this technique to get the flower images so well defined. Good colors and shape. You have indeed created a wonderful impressionistic look at the flower garden. Well created.

I like the new impressionist direction you are taking this technique. The texture in this flowers are so appealing. I like the blended colors and the dark areas in the background add depth.

The flowers have a liquid texture. I assume that the paint has a tendency to run and it is not easy to create any stable shapes. To me it is surprising that you mastered to create indeed flower shapes with your unusual technique. I have tried the technique using school glue, but made a great mess. I have to get some silicone glue and then I will try again. You have me on a hug now.

Thanks so much, Cleo, for your lovely review. I'm still experimenting and haven't found the perfect combination of glue. paint and water yet - still trying - but the blowing with a straw is good fun! I'm glad you like this one. Suzanne

This is an interesting painting with interplay of light and shadows and colours. I like the robust brushwork and the way you have covered the entire canvas with uniform style. Thanks for sharing!
