Beautiful close up, Pat, showing this lovely little Chickadee perching on the branch. The softened background works very well. Excellent lighting and focus showing a lovely crisp image. Very nice composition. Suzanne

a beautiful image of the black capped chickadee, clinging to the snow covered branch, I like the capture of the soft feathers blowing in the breeze, nice eye capture with lovely catch light, the bird stands out clear and defined against the soft muted back drop,
and is well positioned and balanced in the frame, nice work.

Pat,
A wonderful stop action picture of this tiny Chickadee with the icy cold breeze tossing it's downy breast feathers about as it perches watching you on the snow covered branch the light catching the sparkle in it's bright eye with a snow flake on it's head & the tip of it's beak the soft blurred beige & blue greys making a perfect contrasting background. Artistic composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

A very nice shot. I like the subtle colors and the catchlight in the eye. The chickadee seems fluffed up against the cold and his plumage is shown in fine detail.

Oh I just love this little bird and this is a fantastic capture of one. It looks so cute and fluffy and the tiny feet look amazing holding onto the snow covered branch. This snow really adds a nice touch to this photo, it almost matches the beauty of the color of this chickadee. I love the detail and the excellent tones of color and really just love the sound of this bird. Wonderful and adorable and a pleasure to view and review.

Thank you so very much! I really value and appreciate your support! I feel so sorry for these tiny birds, they stay all winter and they will sit all puffed up like this.

Another avian delight!
A cute & candid capture!!
Look at that innocent eye made more alive with that glint of white light in his black sclera.

Fine facial features & smooth & fluffy textures.

Sharply focused.
Ideally framed.
Subtly lit.
Nice perspective & narrow DOF.

Thanks for sharing...

They are such cute little birds. we have them pretty well year round. Good shot with plenty of details. Nice catch light in the eye. I like the diagonal branch for it to rest on. I thought I saw snow before I read your comments, it needs foot warmers. Well seen.

This is a wonderful shot of the Black Capped Chickadee. Your lighting spectacular and the details incredible. I like that the eye is so sharp and draws you into your photography. Your diffused background a lovely field of bokeh compliments your photography beautifully. Outstanding work and thanks for sharing.

Poor baby...he looks so chilly and of course those snow flurries do not help. I love the way the blended browns in the background. The angled branch and the delicate light highlighting the bottom of the belly is most pleasing.
