I like the trail of butterflies from bottom right up to top right sweeping through the middle. This leads us into the painting nicely. Not so sure on the colour choices would not be my preference would prefer more vibrancy for butterflies and flowers - but this is personal preference. Like the two colour background fade - very well done.

hadn't even noticed the cropped butterfly as i was enjoying the palette of colours that you have used to present this array of butterfly. The mixture of flowers and insect really work wetland at times it appears that the flowers are butterflies too..clever !

What a beautiful pastel work of art with gorgeous butterflies and coneflowers.
I love the watercolor background and its progressive shading in color.
The detail is excellent in the butterflies which all exhibit a certain highlight which I really like. The texture looks
fantastic and adds a nice dimension to this piece.

lovely soft pastel colors for the background blended well from grass to sky. Great drawing of the whimsical butterflies fluttering around the the soft flowers. Beautiful colors for the subject. Well placed. and well framed. Good luck

A very nice illustration/drawing full of color and spirit. A look forward to what summer will have to offer. This could work very well as an illustration in a book. The background provides a positive environment for both the flowers and the butterflies. Well created.

Breaking from the Rule of Odds but still visually pleasing.
Colorful creation with excellent strokes & textures.
Brain interpretation can be deceived by the dynamic C-formation spread across the frame.
Good compositional style. Great overall impact!

Wonderful initial impression: this is so light and cheery, I love this arrangement of butterflies moving about the lovely cone flowers, I love their placement in this work they all seem to be following the large blue one in the top right except for the mauve toned one on left in between the flowers, he is moving in a direction of his own. I love the soft colors and tones in the background, they are very effective in bringing the butterflies and flowers forward. Nice detail in the coneflowers and in the butterflies , very well created , impressive to view, it was a pleasure to view ! Best to you in the contest!
