Is an interesting drawing. I like the use of only different tones of brown and how you played with the light. What got my intention is how clever you cooperate the shadow of a man as lighter color compare to dark soil even if it should be other way around. Good work. Keep it going.

Like the contrast in her and him waving goodbye. Draws the viewer into the frame for a closer look. Certainly the poem and the drawing fit well together, good storytelling and well presented

What a beautiful, classy and thought provoking artwork. The woman that is draped in a sheet is only partially seen. This brings an element of suspense and mystery to the artwork. the man is dressed like a cowboy and his body language is waving goodbye. Love it.

This poem inspired a nice rendering by you. I like the sepia tones that can symbolize both the warmth of the moment and the sense of loneliness so from the departing. I like that we cannot see any truly distinguished features of either figure as that is often what happens in memories.

I like the basic concept of what you have drawn. the detail and fine lines in the right half of the drawing are wonderful. They create a beautiful image that tells a story. I wish the other half (the man in the background) had that same sense of detail. By comparison it is very flat and incomplete, almost an afterthought. IMHO. The textures and shading in the image are very strong and do grab the viewers attention. Well conceived.

Marvelous interpretation of poem and drawing. Being a writer myself , I loved the poem. Well done.. Love the reverse shadow effect of dark figure , light shadow. The girl is beautiful and just showing her lips and not her eyes says she is hiding her sadness. Great shadows and lines. Beautiful drawing.
